Major duties and responsibilities are appended bellow:
? Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs for financial planning & analysis
? Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.
? Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
? Ensure record keeping systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting & auditing standards.
? Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.
? Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
? Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
? Develops and implements accounting and finance strategies that support achievement of the company goals
? Monitor financial status regularly and adjusts strategies as appropriate
? Develops and implements Financials strategies which are alleged with the company?s objectives and internal control practices
? Provides management with report and information that can be used as a basis for improved decision making
? Maximizes cash flow by proactively managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
? Develops annual operating and capital budget by working with department managers; analyze budget variances and recommends strategies for improvement.
? Follow up the works with Joint Stock Companies & Firms, DSE, CSE, Bangladesh Bank, Commercial Bank, any other financial institutions as required by the business
? Establishing capital market governance regulation and oversight stock exchange and market
? Designing implementation and enforcement of capital market rules
? Responsible for approval of prospectus for issuance of initial public offering (IPO) right offer in coordination with the Company Secretary
? Responsible for broker licensing, governance and enforcement
? Monitoring and ensuring compliance and IASs/IFRSs by the listed companies in preparation of financial statement and ISAs by the auditors in auditing those financial statements

• Accounts, Audit, Cash Management, Finance, Strategic Planning, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax), Internal Audit

• Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Banks, Garments (Woven/Apparel/Knitting), Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies, Textile (Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Dyeing/Finishing)
